You can store files up to 2GB for free there.
It creates a dropbox folder in your pc or laptop and the folder becomes your portable Hard Drive.
If I want to use it somewhere, all I have to do is to find another PC and internet connection.
You can see and use the files that you put into your own computer's dropbox folder anywhere in the world.
It doesn't matter if that somebody's  computer is PC of Mac.
Dropbox will handle it like, no problemo.
Plus, when you choose to upload files to dropbox.com, its fast upload speed makes you think it's really your own hard drive.
