Obama solves or worsens?

1.Healthcare: He prefers no public option in order to reward himself a bipartisan bill.
2.Financial Reform: Loopholes and Exemptions for manipulative powers, status quo.
3.Campaign Financing: Look at how he raises money and how he treats big doners.
4.Torture, G_bay,
5.Govt Reform?
6.Transparency?
7.Who has been charged for financial crisis? What does Obama want us to learn?

Obama things that make us go...hmm.

October 2009, Significant House Bill Passed by Mass Rep. Barney Frank's Financail Services Committee Allowing Many Loopholes and Exemptions

Major Exemption & Loophole: so called "End Users" and privately run Clearing Houses which will definitely be welcome by Wall Street to undermine the governing authority of regulators.

It is like Barney asks his cat to keep an eye on a fish for his dinner.
He painted pitch black instead of Transparency.
This stinky bill must be rewritten.

Too Hard to Understand

'Too Big to Fail' is one problem. But Barney Frank's loophole-filled derivatives bill has created another.

Oct 22, 2009 Elizabeth Warren speaks out

The cozy relationship of the old systems between cozy executive boards of big corporations and cozy regulators who supposed to govern them are still going strong.
Just like Obama put Summers and Geithner in charge for the reform, the rest of the systems are all occupied and controlled by the same old people who had created the coziness.
How can we ever expect something better can come out of this while they stuck together in the back room still making deals as usual with their faces hiding behind their masks from us?
History shows when an un-endable regime ends.
When system is rotten down to the core like this,it ends or falls.

Reform is dying just as expected.

The glory days of America is over.

I want to be wrong to say the followings.
Banks steal from customers.
TBTF(TooBIgToFail)s suck up nation's tax dollars to make up their tiny losses.
Politicians collect money from TBTFs and the likes they helped bailed out.
Reform bills are stripped and watered down by concerted efforts of corrupted members of congress and industry lobbists.

Wherever you look, no accountability can be found in the nation's governing systems.
And timid Americans seem to think it is just the way it is and nothing can be changed or done.

What a pathetic state of America.
People around the world think this is the case.
A concerned Canadian wrote in a blog as below.

Concerned Canadian Says:

As a non American watching from over the Canadian border, it is beyond my comprehension why the American population is not beside itself with rage over the pain Wall Street has visited upon your great nation.
You had a revolution over a tea tax yet now you stand back and let your government funnel hundreds of billions of dollars to irresponsible financial service institutions.
Counter parties to the AIG credit default swap debacle get 100 cents on the dollar out of your pockets while the ranks of the unemployed swell, manufacturing labor contracts are renegotiated, homes continue to foreclose and pensions shrink or disappear.
It is as if you have some perverse form of socialism where profits are private but pain is public.
You are sacrificing your 200 year old experiment in democracy to a wealthy oligarchy that makes no real contribution to the economy. At least back in days of Rockefeller, DuPont, Ford, Carnegie and Stanford, the wealthy and powerful actually produced something of value.
Wall Street’s lobby is clearly back at work on capital hill making sure nothing really changes and their legal right to ravage the nation for their personal gain remains unabated.
Wake up please! For your own sake and for all of us.

Will Financial Reform happen? Obama's kicking the can down the road...

There have been booms and busts all the time thanks to America's financial system.
America's financial system is nothing more than a Vegas casino.
During the boom, richs gets ridiculously richer and during the bust, poor gets completely ripped off by the rich.

People know this.
Politicians and Economists know this.
But true reform has never happened.
Why?

Is it because ordinary people are too stupid to remember?
There must be a good reason for this.
So let's think through.

It's the system that doesn't allow people to keep focus on the important issues.
Like I said, at bust, ordinary people lose jobs, income and security.
On top of that, they are the ones being taxed to rescue the bankers who are stealing from them right in front of their eyes, right here, right now.

What happens to the few largest bankers?
Fed prints trillions of money just for them to spend, no questions asked, no plan to pay back.
Govt. gives them tax dollars squeezed out us.
Is this a losing game for the thieves?
Hell, no.

Boom or bust, it's a losing game for losers, us, the ordinaries.
So when in bust, who most desperately needs money to feed sons and daughters?
The rich or the poor?
The poor, of course.
When there is a sigh of recovery who gets more excited?
Of course, it's the poor again.

Get it?
There is no chance for reform unless there is a prolonged recession or depression for a long time.
The reason is because we starve for money to feed.
We need to work longer hours for some extra.
Recovery means more jobs, more incomes and with that we can feed our babies.
We don't wanna lose this nickles and dimes.

Then reformers talk we need to regulate this and that.
"It will be painful but we must do this now." reformers say.
What rich guys would do this time?
Of course, buying up the time and spaces of media and spread the fear.
Lobbists gather in D.C.
Signs of more headaches are being produced.
Who would resist this the most?
Of course, us.
We can at least make few bucks more now than we were in trouble.
Things reformers and thieves are fighting about just remind us the troubled time.
"At least now we are better than a few months ago.
Please leave us alone, we are sick of this." We'd say.
We would easily get irritated by preaches of reformers.

This is why no true reform happened after many busts.
And this is how we have become slaves of the system.
And it looks like politicians and their masters, thieves, have been realizing that the good time is back for them.

Hyperinflation, is it really coming our way?

These guys have some reasons to be worried.
Although the voice is from the other side.
Govt. spending vs. Free market...endless debate.
WASHINGTON - JANUARY 20: President Barack Oba...Image by Getty Images via Daylife

Is there any reason to believe that these fears will overtake nation's media unless current Govt. actually gets serious about financial system reform?

Mismanaged free market failed us and pushed us off the cliff.
Don't let this free market myth fail us again by you, President Obama, doing nothing.

Counter Arguments about free market myth resoundingly powerful such as one by Stiglitz but he also is in the same boat with the other side as long as the issue's about too big to fail and massive banks bail outs at the expense of tax payers.

Financial reform? Obama, where are you?

Healthcare volume has been pumped up to the max and during the process confused the hell out of the ordinary people and finally come down to the ugly reality of watered down,  wastefully compromised bill for the name of bipartisanship.

They are ready to shove it down to our throats saying, "Shut the f..k up, now."

It has been a painfull scene to watch.
What is democracy?
Is it for us or for them?
Past election was one fairy tale that made people hopeful that D.C. can be changed
with this guy.
But as time goes by, he looks even more D.C. kinda guy than most others.
Does he really think he can root out centuries old corruption by being a decent bipartisan guy?
Congress and Senate has nothing to do with the people but has everything to do with money sources that can elect them next time.
Wasn't he talking about cleaning both houses and changing the way they do business?

Look at him.
Look at congress.
Look at senate.
After all the talks from their mouths, what's changed?
Can they ever do a thing for the people?

Although healthcare system here is broken, it's only a byproduct of broken financial system under crony capitalism.
While debating healthcare for months, financial reform sneaked away from sights.
There were people desperately trying to speak for us like E. Warren, Stiglitz and even Volker.
But they were not covered enough to educate people and not treated by Obama as important voices as well.
This financial system basically ruined not just America but the whole world.
Solution must not only be made for American but for the whole world too.
Open market and free flow of capital which have been the virtue of last couple of decades have in fact ruined the whole world by breaking balance and increasing instability.
Terms we got used to over the period of financial crisis such as hedge fund, CDS or OTC derivitives...these were unregulated, back room deals that ghost around the world using manipulative power and inside information sucking up the blood of countries, dumping whole bunch of screw-ups such as broken wealth distribution, raised poverty level and on and on and on.
Globalization globalized America's own problems to the rest of the world with so called innovative financial instruments that by no means nothing other than gambling with other people's money.

And after all these mess, financial melt down and repeated promises of reform from politicians like Obama, nothing has been done to get to the root of the problem.
Instead, we recently hear consumer protection agency of some sort will be inacted if passed by congress.

What a joke!
Are they talking about the root or the tip of the branches?
The sky is there even if you cover it with your own hand.
Crimes will be committed whether there is consumer protection agency or not.
Yeah, it is better than nothing but what about this rapidly growing cancer?
I mean, America's bloody nose can be blocked with cotton ball but what about the growing cancer in its liver.

"Oops!" I mean "Aha!!"
Now I get it.
So you will treat the symptom and hope it won't happen again until you get out of the office.

President Obama, don't tell us things are getting better.
You have not done nothing to correct this broken system other than pour our money into the same old broken system.
Your FED and Treasury have deceived and failed us.
We have been patiently waiting for you to come around for Audacity of Hope of Ours.
You'd better talk straight to us instead of bending and curving and hiding.
Like you said, it is precisely the time that we cannot just do business as usual.
Do not go down in history as a failed one, be a great one with your reform, a fundemantal and structural reform .

I'm still hopeful just like most other Americans.
And my prayer goes to you in this hard time of ours.

What is electric?

ELECTRIC 101
Many of you may have just enough exposure to electricity to maybe confuse you or to even frighten you. With this in mind, I am hoping the below information may be of some value to you who may have questions about what electricity is. I will make electrical comparisons to that of water to help you have a better understanding since most of you are familiar with water. I will not attempt to be technical. Keep in mind, that this is just an brief overview and for a better understanding of electricity you will need to acquire and read additional resources.
---------------------------
You may find the following helpful in converting the value of these terms into another value...
AMPS = Watts / Volts
VOLTS = Watts / Amps
WATTS = Amps x Volts
Kw = 1,000 Watts
---------------------------
ELECTRICITY is an electromotive force (voltage) and the flow of electrons (current) through a conductor (wire). Think of electric as water flowing through a pipe. The pressure of the water would be represented by voltage and the rate of its flow would be its current (amps). So for example, a flow of 12 pounds per square inch of water at the rate of 4 gallons per minute is similar to 12 volts (pressure) as 4 amperes (current). To increase the flow of water you need to increase the size of the pipe, with electricity you would increase the wire size, which decreasing the wire resistance allowing an increase of current. This flow is called AMPERAGE in electric or you apply more pressure to the water, in electric this pressure is called VOLTAGE.
There are two types of electricity: ALTERNATING CURRENT (AC) which you will find in your home and DIRECT CURRENT (DC) which you would find in say your flashlight or automobile. In AC the flow of electrons first flows in one direction and then they reverse and flow in the other direction. While DC the flow of electrons is in one direction from minus (-) to plus (+).
Here are the major parts which make up electricity...
Voltage (E)

Measured in VOLTS, indicates the electrical "pressure" in a system. So if you were to take the pressure at the base of two water tanks of the same diameter, one being 120 gallons and the second being 240 gallons, you would see that the larger of these two tanks has more pressure. This is the same with 120 volts compared with 240 volts. The symbol for volts is V.
Current (I)
Measured in AMPERES (AMPS), is the quantity of electricity (electrons) that is flowing in a circuit. One amp is equal to the movement of one coulomb per second or 6,280,000,000,000,000,000 electrons per second. Again using water as our example, a pipe 4 inches in diameter will supply a larger amount of water than a pipe 1 inch in diameter. This is important to remember as the size of the wires used in an electrical system will determine how much electric current can go a distance from point A to point B.
The symbol for amps is A and the amount of amps used in an hour is amp hours (AH).
Resistance (R)

Measured in OHMS, is the resistance to the flow of electricity. It is a property of all electrical devices and is present in all of our wiring. The word impedance is often used instead of resistance. Impedance is a complex form of AC resistance that can can change with frequency. For a DC system and for this short lesson we will only be using resistance. The symbol for ohms is Ω.
Power (W)

Measured in WATTS, indicates the rate at which electrical energy is being used. The symbol for watts is W.
Energy

Measured in (for our purposes) WATT HOURS (Whr) or KILOWATT HOURS (kWh). This is the amount of electric used in the time period of one hour. For example a 25 watt light bulb in service for one hour uses 25 watt hours of electrical energy. If that same bulb was left on for 100 hours your total energy usage would be 2500 Whr or 2.5 kWh. Don't confuse energy with power. Power is the rate at which energy is being used.
--------------------------
-
Ohm's Law
This is the relationship between VOLTS, AMPS, and OHMS. This law can be explained by the chart below.
Don't let this chart scare you, it is really quite simple to work with. It graphically shows us the relationship between VOLTS, AMPERES, OHMS, and WATTS. This chart is a powerful tool because you can refer to it to change value from watts to amperes as you size your PV power systems. You can also use it to determine the size wire is needed to minimize resistance.

Current (I) is equal to E/R or A=V/Ω
Current (I) is equal to W/E or A=W/V
Current (I) is equal to √of W/R or A=√W/Ω
Ohms (Ω) is equal to E/I or Ω=V/A
Ohms (Ω) is equal to E/W or Ω=V/W
Ohms (Ω) is equal to W/I or Ω=W/A
Voltage (E) is equal to IR or V=AxΩ
Voltage (E) is equal to W/I or V=W/A
Voltage (E) is equal to √WR or V=√WxΩ
Power (W) is equal to EI or W=VxA
Power (W) is equal to IR or W=AxΩ
Power (W) is equal to E/R or W=V/Ω
---------------------------
Like I said, this is just the basics, for more detailed information you will need to do an Internet search.
